Conversion of the Imperial Stables into a teaching building with Auditorium Maximum on the Am Neuen Palais campus, Potsdam
The Imperial Stables is part of the Neues Palais ensemble, which is a listed building and is located in the immediate vicinity of Sanssouci Park. The aim of the renovation was to harmonise all the requirements of a modern university with the sensitive historic building fabric.

The former Imperial Stables now serve as the main building of the University of Potsdam. The former riding hall was converted into the Auditorium Maximum, the hall is equipped with four hundred and fifty seats as well as a large-screen projection and simultaneous translation system. In addition, the building includes a cafeteria, two lecture halls and seminar and office rooms.
