Refurbishment, conversion and new construction of the Preussag representative office in Berlin-Mitte, Unter den Linden.
The front building of the former Hotel Carlton with its historic Art Nouveau façade, the historic staircase and the steel construction inside the building is a listed building. The special challenge was to carefully handle the substance worthy of protection on the one hand and the requirements for an efficient, modern service building with conference and event areas on the other.
The historic front building was extensively renovated and converted and supplemented by the new side wing in Charlottenstrasse, based on the historic model.
A prestigious, modern event hall was created in the area of the former inner courtyard.
