Embassy Australia

Renovation, conversion and new construction of the historic building Wallstrasse 76/79 and Märkisches Ufer 6/8 for the permanent Embassy of Australia.

The original building on Wallstraße from 1913, the main parts of which are now listed, was designed by the architect Fritz Crzellitzer. The façade with its magnificent majolica tiles and patinated brass plates is of particular value. The integration of the listed building substance into an overall concept that meets the representative standards of a modern embassy building posed a special challenge.
