Conversion of Luisenforum into IKEA Planning Studios Potsdam
As a supplement to the existing IKEA stores, so-called Planning Studios with an innovative concept are planned in central locations in Berlin and Potsdam. The focus here is on advising customers and providing spatial impressions. The Luisenforum in Potsdam's city center, which was planned and realized by our office in 2013, offers the ideal location for this with its sales area on two levels and the attractive display windows facing the street and the courtyard.
The focus of the planning here was the detailed implementation of the designs for exhibition and consultation areas created in Sweden and their integration into the partly listed existing building.
