New construction of the Georg-Friedrich-Händel-Halle in Halle-Spitze
On the edge of Halle's historic old town lies the Halle-Spitze quarter, which at 48,000 sqm is one of the largest development and reactivation areas close to the city centre in the new federal states. A cultural centre for music performances, congresses, festivals and citizens' meetings, lecture events, conferences and exhibitions with charisma for the entire region has been developed here.

The Georg-Friedrich-Händel-Halle the pointed end of the so-called Händel Forum.
The large trapezoidal hall, which meets the high acoustic requirements for classical and contemporary music, is designed for 1,500 visitors, while the small hall can accommodate 350.
In addition to steel, glass, and concrete, maple and gray and green gneiss were used as materials.
